Vielleicht war meine Erwartungshaltung auch zu hoch. Aber bis auf eine kleine Informationstafel findet man im Wald nicht viel. Mit ganz viel Fantasie kann man Hügelgräber erahnen. Wobei die Betonung auf erahnen liegt, denn die Anhebungen im Wwald könnten genausogut durch starkes Wurzelwerk der Bäume geprägt sein.
Wer Eisenzeitliche Gräber sehen möchte, der ist in und um Wildeshausen sicher besser bedient.
Trotzdem kann ich den Friedeholz als Ausflugsziel selbst empfehlen. Erholsames Wäldchen mit vielen kleinen Waldpfaden.
