Feel like a maritime researcher
On the island Dänholm in Stralsund one can find the NAUTINEUM with many original exhibits of fishery and marine sciences. Eye-catching is the 14 m high boats hall with "Zeesen"- and beach boats of the Western-Pomeranian coastal fishermen. On the 23,000 m² big area one can find an adventure playground for children and many impressive big exhibits, like cutters, an authentic fishing shed and - as a highlight - the accessible underwater laboratory "Helgoland". From the NAUTINEUM, the "box seat on the Strelasund", one has a great view on the skyline of Stralsund and the new Rügen Bridge.
